Advanced Educational and Training Opportunities Committee
AllerGen is committed to making a significant investment in knowledge development in asthma, allergy and immunology across the country. The Network's Strategic Plan has laid out a bold initiative to create 100 new research trainee positions, while doubling the number of highly qualified clinical specialists and research scientists currently in the field.
The AETOAC advises AllerGen's Research Management Committee. The cornerstone of the AETOAC's activities will be the implementation of AllerGen's training program, the Canadian Allergy and Immune Diseases Advanced Training Initiative (CAIDATI), a national, multi-sectoral and coordinated umbrella program that will leverage and integrate existing initiatives across the country.
