Clinician Scientist Fellowship
This program is aligned with AllerGen’s strategic objectives related to Canadian capacity building, which are to:
- Increase research capacity in the field of allergy and clinical immunology.
- Foster and enhance academic innovation arising from basic and clinical research for medical students and postgraduate clinical trainees that pursue sub-specialities in allergy and clinical immunology.
AllerGen encourages applicants to secure matching funding to a level commensurate with their level of clinical training. The deadline for applications is March 1, 2010. AllerGen is funded through the federal Networks of Centres of Excellence program. The Networks of Centres of Excellence Canada is a joint initiative of the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council, the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council and Industry Canada.
